Practice what you preach

I just read my last Perspective, ‘Journey to Self Empowerment’. I strongly suggested that if ‘you’ just talked to yourself out loud (autosuggestion) and pray with conviction you’ll get what God has for you. Stay focused, pray, and talk to yourself. Great stuff! Sounds easy enough?

However, please allow me to come clean. I have not mastered the Power of Focus. My fire of desire only flickers, it is not powered with the proper fuel of my visions. Inconsistent sparks illuminates the path I travel. The heat that radiates from the blazing fire of truth, determined and focused commitment to positive and prosperous transformation does not burn hot. It can be touched by distractions of many forms.

Hypocrisy, the pretense of having virtues, principles, or beliefs that I don’t actually have, can’t be allowed entrance into Perspective by Caesar. I must first minister to myself, speak into my own life, encourage myself, transform myself, as I encourage and enable you.

Why is Caesar telling us this, some of you may be asking? Well, this is a revealing process. A soul cleansing; God ordained revelation.  I must give myself permission to administer a Truth Check. God has brought me this far. “God has a plan for my (your) life; a plan to prosper me (you) and give me (you) an expected end.” Jer. 29:11.

God has specific reasons for the existence of DGC.com and for Perspective by Caesar.  DGC.com is maturing, expanding and doing well. Thanks to all of you; readers, advertisers and critics.  And, of course, extreme thanks to my partners, Tiffany and Deamon who are priceless. Oh, how the Lord has blessed me with those two.

My God has provided me with all the tools needed to produce an outstanding website. God will allow me to project, propel and prosper. I speak this into my life as I speak into yours. Please receive it. “I am blessed to be a blessing to others.” Mal 3:10.

I now know that I (you) might lose focus; lose my place, perhaps even misplace parts of my mind, along the way. But, I also know that I will find the path again quickly. “I am victorious and I always triumph through Christ Jesus, my Lord.” 1 Cor. 5:20

Single minded focus on personal growth and spiritual maturity through the Word of God can be intimidating. Please endure. Please know that, to succeed you must first fail. Find comfort in the words of Solomon. “Poor is he who works with a negligent hand, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.” Proverbs 10:4. Give yourself a Truth Check often and practicing what you preach.

Happy Juneteenth!
