In Search of my Significant Other

I’m in search of my significant other.
This relationship will complete me.
I catch a glimpse of my soul mate.
Quick glances.

Right now, we are seated together
On the Fifteenth pew -right side.

He’s close to me.
I keep it on the down low.
He walks with me.
I slow up.
I shorten my steps.

He talks with me.
I won’t hear of it.

He sees through me.
I still try to cover up.

My soul cries out.
