When you reach a point that seems unbearable or when you feel like you are at the end of your rope, who are you going to call? Well, if you said Ghostbusters, you would never be delivered out of your situation. The right answer is God. He will pick you up, turn you around and place your feet on solid ground. Nothing is impossible for God.
Trials and tribulations will come but when we look up to the Heavens from which our help come from, our stormy days will turn into sunny days but we have to pray. Prayer changes things. I can remember a traumatic experience that I encountered not too long ago that broke me down but when I fell down and looked up, God gave me peace. He held me in His arms and cradled me. And today, I thank God daily for delivering me. You see sometimes God has to knock us down in order to get our attention and sometimes He allows things to happen just so we can acknowledge His presence but whatever we go through, God will not put more on us then we can bear.
Psalm 31:2 says, “Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me.” God listens to us when we call and unlike, man He answers. But it is up to us to make that connection with Him. God wants us to let Him direct our path. Once we give God our undivided attention and invite Him into our lives, changes will occur.
Always remember that you are never too low to be picked up and you are never to dirty to be cleaned. God is a healer and a deliver. Who are you going to call?
