Our brother and friend Ron Kenoly, anointed praise and worship leader and teacher, has recently experienced two back-to-back hospital visits that have brought him very close to death and put an indefinite hold on his beloved ministry.
On February 19, 2008, he was hospitalized for 11 days with congestive heart failure. He spent three days in intensive care. After being released and sent home on Feb 29th, it was discovered that one of the medicines prescribed for his recovery predisposed him to pneumonia. On March 10, Brother Ron was readmitted to the hospital and a pneumonia diagnosis was confirmed. At the time of this letter he is still hospitalized with no determined date for release to go home or return to his ministry schedule.
The friends of Ron Kenoly are joining together to lift up the hands of this anointed praise and worship leader during this serious attack on his health. The diagnosis from the doctors is grim, but as believers we know that the will of God shall prevail.
Ron's ministry has had the Lord's hand on it from its beginning. His ministry is a testimony of the power of God working through a man who has battled with asthma and chronic bronchitis all of his adult life. We believe it is an answer to Ron's mother prayers when he was born. Edith Kenoly earnestly prayed, ".Lord let this one praise you..." God heard and continues to answer her prayer.
At the beginning of 2008, Ron and his family began a weekly Bible study believing God that this study group would eventually grow into a local church in Orlando, Florida. We believe these recent attacks on his body are the enemies attempt to upset the beginning of the mandate that God has placed in Ron's heart. His work is not done.
Ron Kenoly has poured out his heart, soul and body for the Kingdom of God, and has made a tireless commitment to bringing the unsaved into the Kingdom and teaching them to worship for 25 years. He is one of the pioneers of contemporary praise and worship. The body of Christ still needs him to impart wisdom, experience, training and mentoring.
We are writing to you because the needs are great. He needs your prayers and your financial support.
