GAYE ARBUCKLE AND THE UNITED VOICES OF CONCORD, A NIGHT OF PURE ELEGANCE

By Tiffany Jackson

BRYAN WISON: A SECOND COMING
Gaye Arbuckle

A night of pure elegance took place on Saturday during a live recording with Psalmist, vocal teacher, composer and sensational songstress, Gaye Arbuckle and the United Voices of Concord. She shined on stage under the bright lights as she ministered through song. The live recording was in preparation for her new CD slated for release sometime this year.

As Arbuckle led each song, her voice roared like a woman with a deep love for what she does. She confessed her commitment to serving God and ministering to others through her constant travel called life. And her mother, daughter and brother beamed with pride as they sat on the front row singing and clapping. Arbuckle’s son was able to experience the performance closer as he played the drums on stage.

The spirit was felt by many as they shouted and waved throughout the audience. Even Arbuckle needed a few minutes before continuing her performance. Every song was heartfelt. Both new songs and old hymns were sung and Arbuckle looked beautiful singing and dancing. It was hard to believe that the woman that stood in front of the audience once was shy.

“I used to hate to sing in front of people because my mommy used to push me out there in front of people and I just used to cry,” said Arbuckle as she asked her mother to come on stage. “I guess it was because I had low self-esteem and I did not like the way I looked but my mom saw something in me that I did not know and she was preparing me for today.”

Arbuckle continued. “I admire my mother’s strength and her support,’ she said as she handed her mother a bouquet of red roses.

The program ended on a sweet note. Arbuckle ended with an upbeat, up-tempo jam and wowed the audience.

Attendees left the facility with smiles and excitement as they talked about how great the show was.
