While dining with a church member on last week she said,” Hard is not impossible.” I pondered on that statement and how it relates to life’s struggles. She was right. In life we travel paths that may appear to be hard to pass through but nothing is impossible with God.  

God is the only one who can perform the impossible. Think about it; he can calm the storm, heal the sick, provide food for a starving nation and he can turn your whole life around when he sees that you have taken a detour. He is a mighty God with all power in His hand.  

Have you ever felt hopeless? Have you ever felt like you were not going to make it through but when you called on God, He was right there to help you? Well, I have many times. Like the famous painting of the Footprints, when you see only one set of footprints that is when God carries you through.  What a wonderful God we serve! 

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” And when you believe this, even through your obstacles, your burdens, your toughest moments, you can survive. I thank God for having my back, my front and my side. I thank Him for surrounding me, being that shield and protecting me when I almost feel like giving up.  

God never promised us that life will always be a field of roses but when we come upon the thorns, we have a healer who sits highs and looks low. Always remember as you take that journey of completing tasks and achieving goals that it may seem hard but hard is not impossible.
