Hello All,
I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits. I want to remind you of a little principle that you may have forgotten. If God has opened a door for you, don’t allow fear to close it. Walk through it, thanking God for answering your prayer.
It was a prayer that purposed that thing in your heart, so if an opportunity presents itself a few months down the line, God is saying, “I heard you, I found you faithful, now this is for you.” Don’t we just love him for that? I’m sure each of us can look back on a time in our lives when everything went wrong, every door was closed, and every answer was no. Maybe you are in that season now, but then out of nowhere something happens and it seems as though change may be on the horizon. But because we are human, we allow fear to rob us of our destiny.
Don’t second guess the good thing that is presented to you. God made it happen; accept it, welcome it, and be thankful for it. Remember, if he brought you to it, he will bring you through it. This saying can go for both good and bad things. We may think sometimes that we are not qualified enough for a certain task or educated enough for that position. If he called you, he justified you. YOU are the one for the job; take it! Allow him to teach you and bring you to a new level. Learn to welcome change and not run from it.
You will be afraid – that’s just all a part of it, but who says you can’t move forward in fear. Have it dragging behind you until it gets tired of hanging on. When you accomplish that step, you will be unstoppable.
If you knock on my door, and I say come in, will you not walk in? The same principle applies if God opens a door; he expects you to accept it. You certainly don’t want him to move to another person’s door…do you?
That's how I see it. How do you see it? Email your comments to tgriffin@dallasgospelconnection.com
