How do you spell “COMMITMENT?”

 

C: CARE                 

 

I am committed to care about how my actions affect my spouse, as long as I shall live.

 

O: ONENESS        

I am committed to do all that I can to be in unity with my spouse as long as I shall live.

M: MAKE IT WORK          

I am committed to making my marriage work in spite of problems and obstacles.

 

M: MAINTENANCE          

I am committed to maintaining my marriage as a mechanic maintains a car.

 

I: INTEGRITY          

I am committed to maintain Christian values as long as I shall live.

 

T: TRUST               

I will do all I can to earn my spouse’s trust.  I will do nothing to cause my spouse to be jealous.

 

M: MEMORIES     

I will take every opportunity I can to make pleasant memories with my spouse.

 

E: EVERYDAY

I will pray with and for my spouse everyday and find ways to demonstrate my love.

 

N: NEEDS

If my spouse has a need, I will look for a way to fill it, as long as I shall live.

 

T: TEACH

I will teach others what it means to be committed by being a good example.
