Lord Plant My Feet On Higher Ground

Lord, lift me up and let me stand,
By faith, on Heaven’s table land,
A higher plane than I have found;
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
I want to live above the world,
Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught the joyful sound,
The song of saints on higher ground.

A friend and I were talking about growing higher in Christ and how much we both look forward to the continued growth in His word. But the question arrived: How can you go higher with all that luggage?

IF YOU ARE HELD DOWN BY STRONGHOLDS YOU CAN’T REACH HIGHER HEIGHTS GOD WANTS TO TAKE US HIGHER AND WHEN WE GIVE OURSELVES TO HIM THERE’S NO LIMIT, NO BOUNDARIES I NEED INCREASE ALL AROUND ME. AND WHEN HE TAKES US HIGHER WE GAIN NEW FREEDOM. “This Freedom is simply personal success for the Christian. It is the liberty, the ability, and the right to become the kind of person that God had in mind when He created US.  So Instead of being enslaved by our sin, crippled by ignorance, and bound by tensions—God has promised TO TAKE US HIGHER SO TONIGHT REMOVE THE CHAINS AND ALL YOUR BURDENS, YOUR HANG UPS AND YOUR HANG OUTS AND GIVE IT TO CHRIST. SO HOW many people WANT TO GO HIGHER, HIGHER, HIGHER IN CHRIST. LORD JUST PLANT MY FEET ON HIGHER GROUND
